RedotPay KYC and address in Bangladesh
RedotPay asks for genuine identity and address information, but passing KYC does not make a stablecoin transaction permitted under Bangladesh Bank rules.
Bangladesh Bank rules come first
RedotPay KYC and address in Bangladesh
Use only document types displayed in the official app, complete face verification, enter a real current address and answer the occupation or source-of-funds questionnaire accurately. Never send documents to an affiliate or informal agent.
KYC approval is not legal permission
KYC determines whether the platform accepts an identity. FE Circular No. 24 determines a different question: whether virtual-asset transactions and facilitation are permitted from Bangladesh.
Do not interpret a successful verification as central-bank approval.
Official verification flow
The app requests country or region, first and last name, date of birth, an identity document type shown on screen and face verification. It then asks for a complete current address and a short questionnaire about occupation or main source of funds.
Additional personal statements or source-of-funds or wealth documents may be requested through in-app notices.
- Use your own legal identity.
- Upload clear, unaltered documents.
- Check recognized details before completing the flow.
- Follow only official in-app requests.
Address consistency and privacy
Use a real current residential address that matches the account. A physical-card application can separately require billing and shipping addresses in English.
Do not send ID, selfie, full card details, CVV, password, OTP or wallet recovery phrase to this site or social-media support.
